Stampin' with my Kids!

So yesterday, John was at camp and Emma got to go out with a friend. Allison wanted to do something special, so she stamped with me. First she picked out a color - tempting turquoise paper. Then she decided that it would be a birthday card for Emma (her birthday is next week). She chose to use the SAB set Birthday Whimsy. She used Pink Passion for the stamping. She sponged the edges in Lovely Lilac and Only Orange - pretty good for a five year old, huh?

Today, the girls went to the store with Daddy, so John stamped with me. He decided to make a thank you note for his birthday (coming up in August - I still need to book the party too!). He's going to have a cooking party at Grab-A-Chef (www.grabachef.com). Check out his card!!! He used Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the base, then whisper white. He chose to use Voila for the stamp set. He stamped it all in Black Stazon and then colored with the Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. He cut out the cake and popped it up with dimensionals. He made the ribbon with the scallop punch, 1 3/8" punch, and 1 1/4" punch in brilliant blue and real red. The "thank you "came from the In the Spotlight set (retired hostess set:() Pretty cool, huh? We cased the card from "bigfootbecky" on Splitcoaststampers.com.

Thanks for looking! Happy Stamping!
